Virtuoso lutenist Paula Chateauneuf brings West Horsley Place's Tudor past to life, performing exquisite works from the Golden Age of lute music by Dowland, Lully and others in the elegant Stone Hall in which Henry VIII himself once dined. In between colourful english dances and flamboyant European arias, Paula will speak about her beautiful instruments and the programme which is inspired by some of the historical figures connected to the house including Elizabeth I and Sir Walter Raleigh.
