Drop-off creative writing camp for children aged 8-11 years

A thoughtful, creative day, filled with botanical discovery. Children will delve into poetic and creative writing with author, Lucy Reynolds.

Lucy will coach them to create writing filled with the wonder of veteran trees, exploring many which grow at West Horsley Place.

The Thousand Year Tree Competition

Children can also get artistic by decorating their tree poems using natural materials. Finished art can be entered into a Surrey-wide competition to create the endpapers for a new children’s book celebrating the thousand year old yew trees at Newlands Corner.
