This two-part workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience.

Get into the festive spirit at West Horsley Place!  Create your own unique gingerbread house tealights and Christmas decorations ready for the festivities.

There will be a step-by-step demonstration with an explanation of hand building processes and surface decoration techniques.  During the second session, we will be adding colour and shine to your pieces using glazes.

Shelley Bock

Shelley Bock is a fine artist specialising in ceramics and printmaking. Her work explores themes of fragility and
transience in the natural world with intent to capture a lightness of touch reflecting this vulnerability. Each handmade piece is inspired by nature and sensitively created often with the use of delicate, white porcelain. Shelley enjoys the unpredictability of working with clay and printmaking and the element of risk.
