West Horsley Place is delighted to be partnering with Shakespeare's Globe this year for Globe on Tour's first ever performance in Surrey. As part of their visit to us, Globe on Tour will give a free performance of Julius Caesar for a specially invited audience.  We have invited GUkraine, Action for Carers, Combat Stress, Woking Mind, Catalyst, Guildford School of Acting and The Loop to be our community partners for this special event and have offered free tickets to their communities.

Our charity partners represent the range of local relationships and collaborations that West Horsley Place has built since the formation of the Trust. Our mission is to enrich people's lives through arts, culture, heritage and nature and to welcome as wide a range of people as possible.

The Loop

"We find it inspiring to work with West Horsley Place. Their inclusive and generous attitude to sharing their beautiful venue and events brings joy to many in the community. production image from julius caesarWhen we visit WHP, it always feels like we're going home, to a "home" away from home. We always feel so welcome and we are free to roam, to enjoy the open fresh air of their grounds, beautiful buildings and fields of sunflowers. Thank you West Horsley Place for sharing your home with us."

Combat Stress,

"Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. We provide life-changing treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. We are delighted to be a community partner of West Horsley Place and Shakespeare's Globe for this special event."

Action for Carers,

“We were very pleased to be able to offer our unpaid carers and their families tickets to this fantastic event at West Horsley Place. Carer families are often low on income, and their lives are high on pressure. So to be able to escape the everyday and enjoy a magical afternoon of theatre together in such a spectacular setting is a really wonderful experience. The tickets were extremely popular and gratefully received. An enormous thank you to West Horsley Place for the opportunity.”
