It was great to see the West Horsley Place Damson and Sloe Gins for sale at the Horsley Farmer's market last month. Although the market cannot take place at the moment, there are other ways to get your hands on some of this delicious nectar. 

We are delighted to continue our partnership with Mews, traditional distillers who make artisanal gin here in our village. 

Each autumn the Mew family arrive at WHP to pick damsons and sloes from our ancient orchard. We hate any of our fruit to go to waste (our local WI pick the apples and pears), so it's wonderful to see this harvest being used to create such a delicous and special gin. Sales from the gin also contribute to our fundraising efforts; so not only can you enjoy a cockle-warming sip, you can also help to support our charity.
