Bee and Hexagon Workshop

This workshop will help you to develop the skills of Amigurumi Crochet and Hexagon Granny Squares. You will learn to work in the round, change colours and try different stitches and techniques. In the morning we will focus on the bee, and in the afternoon we will focus on the hexagon.

It will help if you already have the ability to hold the hook and yarn and are able to chain a foundation. However, if you are a complete beginner, I will be able to work with you to master the skills.

All materials will be provided, including yarn, stuffing and eyes. Handmade ergonomic hooks can be bought for a reduced price of £5 on the day, or you are welcome to bring your own hook if you prefer (3mm or 3.5mm).

Depending on your skill level, you will leave the workshop with a small bee and one hexagon. If you are a complete beginner you may not leave with a finished piece, but Lou will provide patterns and the remaining yarn for you to complete the project at home.
