A workshop set in the grounds of West Horsley Place, we will find the inspiration for our carvings in the plants and architecture of the house and gardens .

Once designed you will be introduced to the tools and skills to create a small relief carved panel in either green or seasoned timbers .

Following the carving process we will explore  the addition of a variety of finishing oils and using a burner to add to the carvings textures and grain patterns.
