News News Pop-up Café- Hurray! To accompany our summer season of events at West Horsley Place, we are delighted to be able to offer visitors a pop-up café. Located in the Place Farm Barn courtyard, the temporary café will be run by the team at Tiger Lily Bus Company who, from their lovely 1960s milk float Winnie, will be serving teas, coffees and a selection of delicious cakes. The pop-up café will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 2 July until the end of September, between 10am and 4.30pm. During this time, visitors to West Horsley Place can enjoy house and garden tours, open days and other special events. Newly opened Place Farm Barn will also be open providing further information about West Horsley Place and family activities. "Whether it be a cappuccino, latte or a flat white, (other coffees are available) or perhaps a brew or hot chocolate is your preference. You can rest assured of the friendliest service and all made from our lovely 1960s milk float Winnie, from our retro-style coffee machine. Fancy a little sweet treat? no problem. We offer a lovely selection of cakes too."The Tiger Lily Bus Company are fellow members of Surrey Hills Enterprises and put sustainability at the heart of their offer,"Going that extra step to be more environmentally conscious in every aspect of what we do is important to us. Our coffee has only travelled a matter of a few miles from being roasted in Ranmoor Common by Chimney Fire Coffee. Our tea is from Cupsmith in Farnham. The cups we use are recyclable, compostable and biodegradable without having to be sent to commercial centres. You can recycle them at home or in your home composter along with the cup lids. If you would like to take home our used coffee grinds, just bring a bag and have as much as you would like for free. These can be used in your garden, plus numerous other ways. Our cold drinks are served in glass bottles rather than plastic. Even our signs have been designed and created locally."We look forward to seeing you for a coffee soon! Please note that, to comply with the Government’s Covid-19 regulations, access to the Manor House and Gardens is only possible on pre-booked tours, open days and other special events. Refreshments can be enjoyed in Place Farm Courtyard. Please visit westhorsleyplace.org for further information and to book. No booking is required to visit Place Farm Barn or the café.
