The Wedding of Frederika and Hugo After three months of wedded bliss, Frederika and Hugo reflected on their wedding day at West Horsley Place with Coco. READ THE COCO ARTICLE The sun came out for their spring wedding with us in April 2024. After marrying in St Mary's Church, just at the end of the West Horsley Place drive, they used both of our venue spaces to create a seamless easy day for their guests. In our Grade 1 listed Manor House they enjoyed drinks and photographs before sitting down to their wedding breakfast in our barn. We particularly loved the music they choose to accompany the day, including bagpipes for their walk from the church and The Blue Lion Band to party with. The West Horsley Place staff also loved making a fuss out of their honored guest - Crumble the golden labrador! The bride said: West Horsley Place was the first wedding venue we could see as a couple. It is one of the closest venues to our home and only does a few weddings per year, making it feel extra special. However, it is also a charitable enterprise under the West Horsley Place Trust, meaning that our money would not only be used for the restoration project of the beautiful Grade I listed house and estate but also the encouragement of the performing arts. West Horsley Place is perfect for a romantic country house wedding due to the amazing backdrop and architecture for photographs and the fantastic team willing to assist you at every stage of the wedding planning and event itself. A special thank you goes to Carolyn Farrell for ensuring everything was perfect for us. All of the team at West Horsley Place wish them joy and happiness for their future life together.
