We can't wait to be able to welcome our community to West Horsley Place. Given the recent government information on the roadmap to the end of coronavirus restrictions, we now hope this will happen from late spring/early summer.

West Horsley Place is unlike many arts and heritage sites in that we will not (initially) be open for visitors every day. We do not plan to be a visitor destination or tourist attraction in the traditional sense; our approach will instead focus on the quality of experience that each person has when they spend time here- 'small and beautiful' will be our day-to-day mantra, so you will always need to check/book before visiting. That is not to say that we will not occasionally host larger and busier events, such as Heritage Open Days, performing arts events or the wonderful village fete.

Our core charitable mission (alongside bringing our built and natural heritage back to good condition) is to improve the wellbeing of people through art, culture, history and nature. To this end we hope to start our National Lottery Heritage Fund programme of heritage activities this summer and through into 2022; providing lots of opportunities for people to get involved. Alongside this programme we hope to start a regular rhythm of open days to visit the manor house and gardens, opportunities for private group tours, as well as ticketed arts, crafts and nature activities.

All events will be advertised in advance on our website. Details will be released on our website in the coming months. Watch this space!
