Enjoy a summer evening picnic and be drawn into some Shakespearean midsummer mayhem!

Bottom, Quince, Snug and the other mechanicals from A Midsummer Night's Dream invite you to witness their rehearsals for the wedding of Theseus and Hippolyta.

In the late summer sun bring along a picnic to the stunning 18th century walled gardens at West Horsley Place. Sit back and relax in the beautiful surroundings while performers from Guildford Shakespeare Company bring you some immersive midsummer mayhem!

You are sure to see Shakespeare's much-loved character's strolling around the grounds before you are called to witness their performance of Pyramus and Thisbe.

About Guildford Shakespeare Company

Since 2006, Guildford Shakespeare Company have been bringing performances to the local area that break down barriers and aim to make art accessible to all.

By deliberately choosing non-theatre venues, their site-responsive approach invites audiences to interact with new or community spaces, to be more explorative of their local area and have a local pride in our shared society.

“GSC are proven, skilled craftsmen and you won’t see Shakespeare produced better anywhere else (sorry Stratford).” Remotegoat.com
