Visit Place Farm Café Our pop-up café Winter closure Our cafe is now closed for the winter season. Marsha and her vintage milk float Winnie are open from April to October, each Wednesday to Sunday 10am-4pm (unless we are closed for a private event). How to find us Located in the Place Farm Barn courtyard, just near the car park and the bridleway, the temporary café is run by the team at Tiger Lily Bus Company. From their lovely 1960s milk float Winnie, they serve teas, coffees, a selection of delicious cakes, and new this year, savoury light bites. They also have ice creams in summer. Our ethos The Tiger Lily Bus Company are fellow members of Surrey Hills Enterprises and put sustainability at the heart of their offer,"Going that extra step to be more environmentally conscious in every aspect of what we do is important to us. Our coffee has only travelled a matter of a few miles from being roasted in Ranmore Common by Chimney Fire Coffee. Our tea is from Cupsmith in Farnham. The cups we use are recyclable, compostable and biodegradable without having to be sent to commercial centres. You can recycle them at home or in your home composter along with the cup lids. If you would like to take home our used coffee grinds, just bring a bag and have as much as you would like for free. These can be used in your garden, plus numerous other ways. Our cold drinks are served in glass bottles rather than plastic. Even our signs have been designed and created locally."We look forward to seeing you for a coffee! Please note to visit the Manor House and Gardens, you'll need to book for a tour, an open day or another pre-booked event. From April, refreshments can be enjoyed in Place Farm Courtyard. No need to book to visit Place Farm Barn or the café: when we're open, just come along. We hold a number of exhibitions in the barn, through the year, free to view.
