What's On Request a Talk Request a talk Talks to groups We offer talks about the fascinating history of West Horsley Place to local organisations. The talk covers the history of West Horsley Place from its origins as an Anglo Saxon village to the founding of the West Horsley Place Trust following Bamber Gascoigne's surprise inheritance of the estate from Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe. We'd be delighted to come and talk to your group; we usually ask for a minimum donation of £50 per talk plus travel expenses. If you would like to book us to visit your society, school or community group, please contact us on [email protected] or 01483 282032. Guided tours for groups We also offer guided tours of West Horsley Place to groups; our Nooks and Crannies tours include areas not otherwise open to the public. Certain dates are reserved for groups and we can often arrange a special date for a group visit. We look forward to seeing you; find out more about visiting here. West Horsley Place is currently on Historic England's 'Heritage at Risk' Register and as an independent charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters.
