We are delighted to announce that Robin James joined us in November 2021 as our new House Officer.  Robin has a Masters in Principles of Conservation from UCL and was formerly Historic Property Steward at Aspley House in London.   Robin has brought real passion for our heritage and has already made progress at the House in terms of the ongoing sensitive and careful management and conservation of its contents and historic assets.

It is a rare opportunity to care for a building that feels like nothing has changed for 100 years and has such warm and peaceful atmosphere- and so many amazing stories! I am looking forward to playing a part in sharing WHP with our community and removing it from the Heritage At Risk Register."

Caroline Leary has joined us as our Team Administrator. Caroline has previously worked as a volunteer at West Horsley Place and has now taken up the role of Administrative Assistant. Caroline has brought with her a wealth of experience from previous roles, most recently involved in financial consultancy & administration in trusts & schools. Caroline has already proved to be an invaluable member of the administrative team and is enjoying getting involved in many aspects of the Trust.

We are also getting ready to welcome Victoria Speirs as our new Marketing & Communications Officer. Victoria will be starting with us in early February and has most recently carried out a similar role at Action for Carers in Guildford.   Victoria will bring her extensive knowledge to the Trust as well as providing welcome support and expertise in this area.

We also said goodbye to Marcus Cribb, our House & Operations Manager, after a short but busy time with us and we wish him very well in his future career. We will shortly be recruiting to this vacant post once we have reviewed the job description to ensure it meets our ever evolving needs.
