OUR OPEN DAYS ARE OUR WAY OF MAKING OUR HERITAGE AND STORIES AS ACCESSIBLE AS POSSIBLE: HELD AT THE WEEKEND & SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, WITH AFFORDABLE TICKET PRICES AND FREE ENTRY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER 16.

Come and explore the Manor House and walled gardens. The most prestigious rooms in the house will be open for you to wander through on a free-flow route. There will be expert stewards in each room sharing the remarkable stories of West Horsley Place including Guy Fawkes' time as a footman here, how Walter Raleigh's head ended up under our stairs, why Elizabeth I had a theatre built in our gardens, how two of our owners ended up being executed and much more.

Refreshments will be available on the day at our pop-up cafe at Place Farm Barn. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic into the walled gardens or Place Farm courtyard, but please take any rubbish away with you.

Our next set of Open Days are listed under the What's On tab.  All tickets are booked through the website.
