Spitfire Patrol is a female-led one-act comedy that follows a group of adventurous girl guides living through the tumultuous years of World War II. In their determination “to “do their bit” for England, they strike out on their own and conduct a patrol camp to test their skills. However, when an injured enemy soldier stumbles into their midst, they find themselves closer to the conflict than they ever could have imagined. Building a shared trust with their newest recruit- a reluctant evacuee from London- the girls discover what they can achieve when they overcome their fears and prejudices, and find out what it truly means to “be prepared”.
