MEET HENRY VIII IN THE STONE HALL

Get up close to Henry VIII at West Horsley Place this summer holiday and ignite a passion for history in your children.

Enjoy an interactive and imitate meeting with the Tudor king and his friend, West Horsley Place owner, Gertrude Courtney. Sit down around the Tudor table, in a small group, and hear about the lavish banquet he once ate on this site in July 1533. Children and adults can ask him anything they like. Find out about his friendship with the Courtneys, his love for hunting or ask him which was his favourite wife!

The experience is brought to you in partnership with Past Pleasures, one of the UK's leading live costumed interpretation specialists. Experts in bringing history to life, they are brilliant at engaging children with the past in meaningful and memorable ways.
